About Bowax Academy
Bowax Academy is a professional automotive care training academy in Gebze (Kocaeli), Türkiye. It provides hands-on, real-vehicle training in paint protection film (PPF), window film, polishing and paint correction, color-change vinyl wrapping, paintless dent repair (PDR), and trim removal and reinstallation — along with a job-guaranteed career program, a training program for women and post-training support.
Bowax Academy positions itself as the largest and most comprehensive car care training center in Türkiye and Europe. It is part of the Bowax automotive ecosystem, alongside Bowax Care application centers and the Bowax franchise network.
Vocational training, not a classic course
Bowax Academy is built as vocational, practice-intensive training. The aim is not only to pass on information but to bring participants to a level where they can do the work, work to a professional standard, take on paid work and, if they wish, move towards starting their own business. Participants are trained as active practitioners, not passive spectators.
To date, 3,200+ participants from 17+ countries have trained at the Academy, with 8,000+ course enrollments in total.
How the training system works
- Training runs on a weekly cycle: a new class opens every week for every course, starting on Monday and finishing on Saturday.
- Training hours are 09:00–18:00, Monday to Saturday.
- Around 90% of the time is hands-on practice on real vehicles; theory and practice run together.
- Classes are limited to 3 participants so that every participant works on the vehicle.
- Work clothing, lunch, and the products and equipment used in training are provided by the Academy at no extra charge.
- Every participant receives a separate Bowax Academy certificate for each course completed.
- No prior experience is required; professionals who want to improve their skills can join the same programs.
- The minimum age is 15; participants aged 15–17 need the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Discipline and professional work culture
Discipline, order, work ethics, dress code, workshop discipline and professional working habits are core parts of the training. The goal is to build a professional work culture as well as technical skill. Progress is directly linked to practice, repetition, discipline and active participation.
Accommodation
Participants of the standard programs who travel from other cities or countries can use free, optional accommodation during their training. It is shared, dormitory-style accommodation (not a hotel), with rooms generally for 3–4 people; using it or not does not change the training fee. Accommodation is not provided within the Women-Focused Training Program.
Student Portal and graduate benefits
After training, support continues through the Bowax Academy Student Portal: participants access training content, follow their questions and support requests, and see student and graduate benefits, including product and equipment advantages from partner suppliers.
